I’m a (43 years young) married, mother of 2 !
I’m British but was raised in Southeast Asia.
My family and I have lived in Canada since 2009.
I have been working in the fitness industry since 2018 after starting as a personal training client where I developed a love for fitness.
I have been told that I inspire people through fitness and my passion is contagious.
I understand that everyone has unique fitness needs and goals. I strive to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and motivated to reach their goals.
I am real and I can relate because I have been unhealthy, unhappy with my body , had low energy and felt weak! I was terrified the first time I stepped in to the gym! I thought about going for 6 months before I did and It took all my inner bravery to go back each session but luckily - when I put my mind to something, I don't quit!
I successfully transformed my body in 6 months! I gained strength, lean muscle and burned fat. I lost over 50lbs and put on 5lbs of muscle. This was through hard work, consistency and by eating clean. It was during this process that I learned I could be both strong physically, not just mentally!
I actually ended up working in the gym I had been so scared to enter for 6 months and I loved every day I got paid to be there - for over 3 years!
I have also learned how to adapt my fitness after I had a serious injury, breaking my ankle which left me unable to walk as well as experiencing a car accident. These caused me over a year of pain and rehabilitation.
Luckily - I had changed my life by incorporating fitness and this means I was able to work my way back to health and wellness because of the lifestyle changes I had already made.
It took time but I learned that it is easy to be motivated when things are easy - it takes strength to stay disciplined when things are tough!
I want to empower individuals I work with to achieve optimal health and wellness through fitness and create long lasting lifestyle changes.
Personal training is not a one size fits all, it’s about you and your specific goals.
To get you to where you want to be physically, but most importantly mentally.
I really emphasize developing a healthy body image throughout this process and creating confidence in my clients.
You get more than just a workout - you get a full coaching service. I specialize in creating personalized workout plans, and provide nutritional guidance to help you transform your body and live a healthier lifestyle.
I am dedicated to helping you and I will work to set you up with the correct tools to reach your fitness goals in a safe, smart way.
